I hate players that post threads about other players.
As for elitists, most people don't have a bloody RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOing clue what that word actually means. Most of the time it's thrown around to refer to someone who's better at something than you are.

Anyone who thinks that their Titles/Minipets/Armor/whatever can be used as proof of skill and requires you to worship them.
Anyone who thinks that challenging people to a 1v1 is that ultimate way to prove you are better then them.
Anyone who can't take helpful advice and will continue to run a bad build out of pride.
Anyone who thinks they are good because they can win in RA/AB
Edit: The first person who applied the description "Balanced Group" to 1 Obs flesh tank, 2 monks, 4 fire eles and an SS necro

Weapons with an inscription slot are inscribable.

The game uses 'inscribable'.
My excessive pet-peeves can probably be attributed to an undiagnosed personality or behavioural disorder. Or maybe the years of intense scrutiny at school have left me bitter in my adulthood.

There's a giant list sitting to my right, but I'll only list a couple.
First of all, those who choose to leave their Caps Lock on. That alone is enough to annoy me, but when they spam useless stuff or questions, I usually leave that district or outpost. About a week or two ago I had to leave Ascalon because I couldn't take this guy's spamming anymore.
Then there are the people that think unusual or unique builds are automatically "noob" builds. For instance, I took my Dervish into AB yesterday. He uses a bow. Of course, some smart ass monk sees me in all my bow-wielding might, and makes this comment: "derv with a bow lolwut." My build wasn't great, but it was close, and I find people like that to be God damned morons. Anyway...
I'll just stop there.

Those that whine to Anet about what you are doing in your instance, even though what you are doing is in complete compliance with Anet's ToS.
Those that don't like to "gimp" themselves, but but beg, whine, and cry for Anet to "gimp" them.
Those that use PvE instances as a way to measure their own self worth. Well, I don't hate them as much as I feel really really sorry for them and their loved ones.
There's a few more, but I'll leave it at that for now. They are sure to pop up in this thread very soon.

I hate those players who go afk every 10 mins when you're in an elite area making everyone else wait for their ruturn. They turn a 1 hour run into 2 hours.
Or those that /ragequit when you're 3/4 of the way through a hard area just because someone made a minor balls-up. Usually it's a monk that does this one.
I also dislike people in PvP who gank you then proceed to call you a "noob". What part of being gang-banged 3 on 1 makes someone a noob? If they'd have actually survived then they'd have been a noob because they'd have been tanking, and tanking in PvP is pointless.
I also dislike people who try to buy stuff for way below it's reasonable value. If something's worth 20-30k then i'd expect to pay (and will pay) 20-30k for it. If i'm selling something that's worth 20-30k then don't even bother offering summut like 10k because quite frankly, it's an insult.
Think i'll leave it at that for now. I'm beginning to sound like a right grumpy bastard.

AB kids who do not understand the concept of capping shrines, working together or staying together as a group.
Narrowminded kids who think if an item isn't 20/20 15^50 +30, it's worthless.
Same as above who wont run anything but cookie cutter builds and expect everyone else to do the same. Their builds can be abbreviated into 2 letters. SF, MM, SS, SV, SH.
People who called people creative enough to think up and experiment with new builds noobs.
Those same people who think up new builds but don't have the foresight to know that testing them in Hard Mode during a mission with actual people might be a bad idea.
People who refuse to play mesmers, assassins, and paragons because they 'suck'; code for they are too retarded to learn how to play them properly.
Beggers, moochers and above almost all, kids who cry and rage-quit guild wars that swarm on fansites after every update about how Anet is some facist dictator on their game and want everything on a platter, right now.

Clueless people.
People who think all cookie cutter builds are a bad thing just because they value originality.
People who don't understand the concept of balance. (Counterable does not equal balanced, ffs)
Ignorant people. (Example: ones who believe mesmers are one of the best pve classes, and that anyone who doesn't think so needs to learn to play mesmer. See also: people who believe paragons have been nerfed into uselessness).
In before the scrubwar/lock. Well, mostly in before the scrubwar.

One pet peeve I have is seeing threads with the scent of necro. We've had several flames and the inevitable GO RED ENGINE pop up a few times in three pages. Reasonable discussion has left the building.
Oh, and yesitsrob? I was a "Rob" before you were born. It irks me that you use the name. Change it, please.

People who control+click their "leet" weapon sets, showing off their weapons. Sundering is always the prefix.
I also hate people who haven't given me ecto, so if you haven't given me any ecto I hate you.
